We’re looking back at what’s been a phenomenal theatrical year seeing musicals both old and new. So many original productions, transfers, and revivals have had audiences jumping up for a much deserved standing ovation on multiple occasions, so without further ado, here are the Top 5 Musicals of 2024!

Flo & Joan’s debut musical perfectly blends their signature comedy style with a musical theatre icon, to create a highly original show featuring a (super)star performance!

Regent Park proved to be the perfect setting for this deeply moving revival of this classic, which proved to be more topical today than ever before.

Jack Godfrey’s highly original Pop-Rock musical was one of the theatrical highlights of the year. With a great script and songs that have been stuck in my head all year, it’s safe to say I’m hoping for a return very soon!

After missing the previous run at the Donmar warehouse I was keen to see the show that everyone was talking about and safe to say it didn’t disappoint. Phenomenal performances and hauntingly beautiful vocals left me in utter awe of this stunning production.

Jethro Compton’s flawless masterpiece was the theatrical highlight of the year in every capacity. Not since Evan Hansen has a show tugged at my heartstrings in this way, with its heartbreakingly raw central performances and pulsating multi-talented ensemble.

A final huge thank you to everyone that has been so supportive this year.
